About Alissa
Alissa Gildark built Gildark Financial Solutions Group around a simple belief: when a client is facing their worst financial problem on their worst day, they need more than someone who can file a return. They need an advocate who can walk into the room with the IRS and win. As founder and CEO she sets the technical standard the firm is built around, leading a team of accounting and tax professionals who bring that same rigor to every engagement. Alissa is an Enrolled Agent, the IRS credential that gives her unlimited rights to represent clients directly before the IRS in audits, appeals and collections, and she is currently pursuing her CPA license. Her work spans tax resolution, individual and business tax strategy, tax preparation and planning, trust and estate accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, audit defense and regulatory compliance, built through more than a decade of hands-on work in public accounting and tax. She founded the firm in 2022 after serving as Chief Financial Officer at a night vision technology company and as a Senior Accountant at Blue Shield of California, and she holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She stays current through active membership in the AICPA, the National Association of Tax Professionals, the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers. Whether she is negotiating a resolution with the IRS, untangling a complicated trust and estate filing, or building out a client's full accounting setup from the ground up, Alissa brings the same combination of technical authority and real care that has made her the professional hundreds of San Diego clients trust during their most difficult financial moments.
